Christmas 2010
I was having trouble wanting to write about christmas cause all I could think to say is "Im glad its over!"Then I thought it fits right in with my miserable theme. Christmas really wasn't that bad but just like every single day that Im not with my kids I suffer just enough. Work is crazy enough to keep my mind on not much else but work, and Gaby keeps me cheerful with her smile and her love for the holidays. Money was tight but what else is new?? I have alot to be thankful for and am looking forward to the new year and the arrival of my first grandchild. Gaby gave me 3 choices for vacation this year, Australia, Greece , or Fiji.I havent picked one but does it really matter? Really all I want is the people I love to be happy, and to survive work for the next couple of months. "hurry back Janene and god give me the strength to not let work break me!!

weekend in San Fran
Well there was really nothing miserable about this weekend, maybe the obnoxious men at the football game but even that wasn't so bad. We had such a good time in San Fran. The weather was yucky but we seem to be used to it now. Friday I had to get my gifts sent to Heather and Andrew. I boxed up everything at the hotel and Gaby and I walked 6 blocks to the post office in the rain, stood in a very long line, but they are sent and i could finally relax! Friday night we went to Fishermans Wharf and shopped and played in the arcade and yes Gab i beat you fair and square in air hockey!! We went to a restaurant in the Little Italy part of town and had expresso and dessert in an Italian cafe. The next day we went to Golden Gate Park and went to the California Academy of Sciences
The California Academy of Sciences is among the largest museums of natural history in the world. It was really fun and the best part was the Morrison Planetarium. From there we had another amazing dinner and I had Pomegranite infused chicken it was so delicious!! Then it was off to the IMAX to see Tron all I can say about the movie was it just plain sucked. Then we shopped Union Square, well we "looked around" Union Square. The next day we went to the Raider Game which was suprisingly more fun than i expected. It was a wonderful weekend "thank you Gaby" xoxoxo

Long Day
It's always busy before you leave for a trip or long weekend. This morning was the first morning my car was covered with ice(frost) and it was pretty darn cold. When i got to work there were 2 really old people leaving from their exciting night of sleep studies and were trying to defrost their windows. The man was spraying his windshield with perfume?? weird so i made a few trips with pitchers of water to clear their windows, Why they just couldn't wait for the windows to defrost is beyond me. After a very long day at work I had to get my gifts for the kids cause today was pay day and im running out of mailing time!! I really don't have much money and everything is soooo expensive. But im pretty happy with what i got. It's not much but i put alot of thought into the gifts so I hope Heather,Jeramie Andrew and Lauren like what I got.I started with Gaby but i still have time... Im glad she made a long list with stuff on it like a Camaro convertible and a Saint Bernard(over my dead body) and the list goes on......and on ...... and on,,,,,,
